My name is Tonči Gregov, I’m a licensed table tennis coach and I’ve been involved in this sport since 1998. In my home town I trained in the club STK Zadar and in the city of Zagreb with the help of amateur players I developed a love for detailed analysis of the sport on all playing levels and across all playing styles. My coaching experience includes two years of work as a coach in one of Croatia’s most award winning table tennis clubs HASTK Mladost Zagreb, several years of engagement with the club STK Merix Zagreb and hundreds of individual lessons with both young competitors and adult amateur players.
My coaching style combines both the amateur and the professional approach and blends traditional and modern playing styles in order to fit each players individual needs and achieve their full potential. In coaching kids I put heavy emphasis on correct technical development that will make playing easy while always keeping in sight their long term development up to adulthood. When training adult amateurs I put technical and tactical effectiveness first in order to minimize mistakes and allow for learning new skills.
